Executable container: the application must recognize and open its virtual MV/MZ structure. A missing www folder does not identify EVB.

Compatibility starts with the game structure
Explore engines and formats supported by LRPGM and find answers before adding your game.
Start with your engine
Recognizing an engine does not guarantee compatibility with every game, plugin or modified structure.
Engine, format and result are different things
Legacy formats and paths require their own processing. The TES path concerns VX Ace; it is not an additional engine.
Read guideDepends on the engine, recognized structure and PBS filter. Basic or Plus for Legacy engines; not every fangame or kit version is guaranteed.

Which RPG Maker versions can I translate?
LRPGM recognizes RPG Maker MV, MZ, XP, VX and VX Ace structures. Free covers MV/MZ; Basic and Plus also provide Legacy engine access. Games with modified structures or custom plugins may require adjustments.
Is a game .exe file enough?
The executable is the entry point. The app must also find a recognized RPG Maker structure: keep the game files and folders together. An .exe alone does not identify the engine or package format.
Are packaged games supported too?
There is processing for MV/MZ structures in recognized EVB containers and dedicated RGSS and TES paths for Legacy engines. Support depends on the format found in the game; it does not automatically cover every executable or protection.
What about custom plugin text?
The analyzer looks for player-facing text and uses its usage context to classify it. This extends extraction beyond standard RPG Maker fields. Because each plugin can organize messages differently, selections may need review in the app.
Does the website demonstration check my game?
No. The demonstration uses a fictional project and abbreviated steps to show how to get started. It does not access your files, detect real projects or represent every engine or configuration. Use LRPGM on Windows to analyze your game.
