How to avoid IP rate limits and translate large games with Tor Hybrid mode
Learn how to use LRPGM network routing modes (Tor Exclusive and Tor Hybrid) to translate hundreds of thousands of lines without HTTP 429 errors.
Why do IP rate limits occur?
Large RPG Maker games often contain over 50,000 to 100,000 dialogue lines. Sending thousands of rapid requests to translation providers can cause providers like Google to issue temporary IP cooldowns (HTTP 429 Too Many Requests).
LRPGM routing modes
To solve this permanently, LRPGM provides native routing modes under Settings > Translation & Proxy:
- Normal: Uses your standard internet connection.
- Tor Exclusive (Stealth): Routes all translation requests through the decentralized Tor network, masking your true IP.
- Tor Hybrid (Boost): Intelligently splits requests between your local network and Tor tunnels simultaneously, doubling throughput while bypassing rate limits seamlessly.
- Custom SOCKS5 Proxy: Allows connecting your own private proxy server whenever desired.
