Account linked to another computer: how to fix it

Understand device linking and learn how to release your account to use its benefits on another computer.

What does this message mean?

Some active LRPGM benefits can be used on only one registered computer per account. When a Basic or Plus account signs in on another computer, LRPGM keeps the user signed in but limits that session to Free mode until the new hardware is linked. Accounts that are already Free continue normally without any additional loss of features.

Stable and Preview behave differently

- Stable version: opens normally in Free mode. The library displays a persistent notice explaining why plan benefits are suspended on that computer.

- Preview version: cannot open in Free mode because it requires active Plus access on the linked computer. LRPGM offers actions to manage hardware, view plans, or return to Stable according to the account state.

The subscribed plan is not removed. Only the effective access for that session is reduced for security.

How to change the authorized computer

1. Sign in to your account on the website.

2. Open Profile > Security.

3. Find the linked computer and select Unlink device.

4. Read the confirmation and complete the unlinking process.

5. Open LRPGM on the new computer and sign in to register the new link when prompted.

What unlinking does

Unlinking releases the account so another computer can be registered. It does not erase device history or the history of rewards and benefits already redeemed. These records are preserved to prevent duplicate use.

Security limits

There may be a security interval between unlinking actions. When a temporary restriction applies, the Security page shows when the action will be available again.

Still not working?

Make sure the Windows date and time are correct and try signing in again. If the device shown in your profile does not match your computer, or if the message continues after a new link, contact support with your account email and the message displayed.
