How to choose which game text LRPGM will translate
Configure a simplified or professional scope for dialogue, databases, plugins, structured files, and videos.
Simplified or professional
The Simplified scope uses a recommended selection for common game text. Professional mode lets you choose sources and fields more precisely.
Sources you may see
Depending on the project, LRPGM can list map dialogue and events, common events, system messages and terms, database entries, scripts or plugins, compatible custom systems, spreadsheets and structured files, and video subtitles. Protected, encrypted, or plan-dependent resources appear locked or include an explanation.
Build a safe scope
1. Start with the recommended selection.
2. Expand groups and verify that the expected text types were detected.
3. Avoid code, identifiers, or sources you do not recognize.
4. Use sample previews when available.
5. Review the summary before moving to language settings.
Selecting more sources does not guarantee a better translation. A focused scope reduces technical text sent to the translator and makes review clearer. You can go back and adjust the selection before processing starts.
