Translation and review
How to review and apply a game translation
Edit text in the table or Game Flow, check its context, and safely finalize the translation.
The review stage
When review before apply is enabled, LRPGM displays original and translated text. Use search, filters, and the file tree to find a line. Select its translation, edit it, and save the change.
Table and Game Flow
The table is useful for finding and editing many records. Game Flow arranges map events and dialogue in sequence, helping you understand what happens before and after each line. For subtitles, review can also open the video at the matching timestamp.
What to check
- character and location names;
- variables, codes, and markers that must remain intact;
- message length and line breaks;
- consistent terminology;
- menus, choices, and system messages.
Apply it to the game
After review, select Finalize project. LRPGM prepares and applies files to the registered game copy. Do not close the application during this stage. When it finishes, launch the game from the library and test menus, a new game, and important scenes. Keep safety backups enabled so you can restore the previous version if needed.
